One year ago, we launched The DataOps Initiative as a forum and gathering place for experts across DevOps, Data Engineering, and Machine Learning fields to bring clarity and structure to how data moves through modern delivery pipelines. Since then, we’ve defined foundational principles, shipped technical blog posts, hosted community meetings, and kicked off work on a vendor-neutral DataOps landscape.

This lightning talk will cover what we’ve built so far—early architecture patterns, team topologies, learning materials in development, and workshop formats aimed at bridging CI/CD and data platforms.
